"One person's trash is another person's treasure." 

DESERTED started off as a side project between two sisters who managed their family's recycling business. Our fascination with metal only progressed, we not only recycled beautiful metals but reused and re purposed them for home projects. After many raves of our office interior decor, we realized that we may possibly have something going here. We wanted to rescue all these treasures from being recycled and smelted, but we couldn't stock our homes with so much. We set up a mini shop showcasing some of the cool vintage/ antique metal figurines that other people considered "trash" and soon enough they became another's treasure. 

Metal Revival: We love all metals and their natural earthy elements. We have antiques dating back from the 1800s up to more modern items that evoke more sentimental feelings. Vintage pieces or handcrafted products made from brass are usually unique with their own story, character and craftsmanship. As sisters growing up in the "green" industry, we not only wanted to encourage recycling, but also to reuse and revive the classic beauty of what metal has to offer. Therefore it is important for our customers to know that ALL of our items are rescued from the scrap yards and have their own unique imperfections.
